Our Story
Built from lived experience. Designed to fix what the system gets wrong.
One of our founders came to this work as both a behavioral health executive and a mother.
For decades, she worked inside healthcare systems and understood how levels of care, reimbursement structures, and clinical operations were designed to function. On paper, the system appeared structured.
Then her daughter entered it.
She cycled through outpatient therapy, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient programs, and inpatient care. Despite access to providers and services, she attempted suicide three times. After one inpatient admission, the family received a call the next morning: she no longer met the criteria to remain. When they asked where she belonged, no one could answer.
There were programs.
There were providers.
There was no ownership.
No coordination across levels of care.
No accountability for outcomes.
No one responsible for the full continuum.
That experience exposed a systemic failure, not a clinical one.
Alignment Behavioral Health was built to correct what too many families experience: fragmentation without accountability.
What We Stand For
We believe every patient deserves a care team that communicates, coordinates, and takes ownership from the first session forward. ABH exists because the gap between “access to care” and “quality of care” is too wide — and families deserve better.
